MIXING18 takes place in Limerick, Ireland's third-largest city-historic, welcoming, and set on the country's beautiful west coast. Our host, the University of Limerick (UL), spans a spectacular 133-hectare parkland campus along the River Shannon: an inspiring backdrop for science, collaboration, and sustainability.

Getting to UL from Limerick City Centre

The University of Limerick campus is located about 4 km east of Limerick city centre. You can reach the UL Arena / Analog Devices (AD) Building easily by:

  • Bus: Routes 304 and 308 run every 10–15 minutes from the city centre to UL. The journey takes around 15 minutes. Alight at the UL Arena stop for the AD Building.

  • Taxi: A taxi from the city centre costs approximately €10–15 and takes 10–15 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • Cycling/Walking: The riverside University Bridge route offers a pleasant 20–25 minute cycle or a 45-minute walk from the city centre.
