Registration (not open yet)

Click the registration link, sign in or create your Dryfta account, select your ticket, add any optional items if desired, and complete payment online.
Your ticket includes access to all sessions and materials, coffee breaks and lunches, the welcome reception, the conference dinner, on-site support, and conference Wi-Fi.
Yes. The early-bird registration deadline is 1 May 2026.
Full registration fees have not yet been published. Please check the registration page again for updates.
Payment can be made online by credit card, bank transfer, or any other method shown during checkout.
Yes. Invoices are issued electronically to the email address used during registration.
Yes. Optional items such as the excursion can be added during checkout, subject to availability.

Changes, Cancellations & Refunds

Yes. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to the MIXING18 Secretariat at info@mixing18.org.
Refunds are processed as follows:
  • Until 1 June 2026: full refund minus a €50 administration fee
  • From 2 June to 1 August 2026: 50% refund
  • From 2 August 2026: no refund
Yes. You may transfer your registration to another delegate from your organisation at no extra charge until 15 August 2026.
Badge name changes may not be possible after 15 August 2026.

Visa

Ireland is not part of the Schengen Area. Delegates from outside the UK, EU, or EEA may need a visa. Please check the official Irish visa guidance before making travel plans.
Delegates who need a visa should apply for a Short-Stay "C" Conference/Event Visa.
After your registration and full payment are complete, log in to your Dryfta account, go to My Profile, and click Generate Visa Letter to download the PDF.
Please apply as early as possible. The conference website advises delegates to apply at least 3 months before travel.
No. The invitation letter supports your visa application, but visa approval remains at the discretion of the relevant authorities.

Venue & Local Transport

MIXING18 takes place at the Analog Devices (AD) Building, Bernal Institute, University of Limerick, Ireland.
The University of Limerick campus is about 4 km east of Limerick city centre.
You can take bus routes 304 or 310, which run frequently between the city centre and the University of Limerick. A taxi usually takes 10 to 15 minutes.
Yes. From the city centre, the riverside route offers roughly a 20–25 minute cycle or about a 45-minute walk.

Travel

Shannon Airport (SNN) is the closest airport to Limerick and usually the easiest option for delegates.
Yes. Dublin and Cork are both possible alternatives, with onward travel to Limerick by coach, train, or car.
Yes. Delegates can access up to 10% off eligible fares through the Air France–KLM Global Meetings & Events programme.

Accommodation

Yes. Recommended hotels near the venue include Castletroy Park Hotel and Kilmurry Lodge Hotel.
Yes. Current city-centre recommendations include Absolute Hotel Limerick and Limerick Strand Hotel.
Yes. Travelodge Limerick Castletroy is listed as a budget-friendly option near the university.

Conference Experience

MIXING18 is the 18th European Conference on Mixing, bringing together participants from academia and industry to share advances in mixing science and engineering.
MIXING18 is presented as a single-track conference, so all delegates can follow the same core programme.
Yes. An optional excursion is available and can be added during registration, subject to availability.
