Every three years, leading researchers, engineers, and industry professionals meet to share the latest developments in mixing for the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, biotech, and energy sectors.

Special Issue of Chem Eng Res Des

We have reached an agreement with ‘Chemical Engineering Research & Design’: as with several previous European Mixing Conferences, there will be a special issue of Chem Eng Res Des with a selection of contributions to this 18th event in this series.

In consultation with the session chairpersons, the chairman will invite some 20 presenters to write a journal paper on the basis of their presentations at the conference. The provisional deadline for submission of these manuscripts to the journal: early January 2027.

Excursion

Excursion to the Cliffs of Moher

Join our optional excursion to the spectacular Cliffs of Moher on Sunday 30 August 2026. Departure from The Stables at approximately 12:00 hrs.

Places are limited to approximately 50 participants and advance registration is required.

Connect with researchers, industry representatives, and technology providers through informal networking, one-to-one meetings, and collaboration opportunities.

The conference platform will help participants identify shared interests and arrange meetings throughout the conference.

Poster Printing Service

Would you like to have your conference poster printed locally in Limerick?

MIXING’18 participants can make use of a poster printing service provided by Troy Marketing. Posters should be submitted as a A0 PDF file / format. To allow sufficient time for printing and preparation, we recommend sending your file at least 5 working days before the conference.

The cost for poster printing is €30 + VAT per poster.
Please note that this is an optional external service. Authors are responsible for submitting their poster file on time and arranging payment directly with Troy Marketing.
